Advanced Open Water Course Description:

The Advanced Open Water Diver course builds upon your existing scuba diving foundation.

Through a combination of theoretical knowledge development, confined water practice sessions, and open water dives, you’ll gain expertise in specific diving specialties.

Unlike the Open Water Diver course with mandatory dives, you’ll choose five adventure dives from a wide range of options, catering to your interests and diving goals.

Whether you’re fascinated by navigating wrecks or drawn to the beauty of deep diving, this course allows you to personalize your learning experience.

Advanced Open Water Course Structure:

The Advanced open water course includes 5 Dives in total.

• Two Core Dives:
  • Deep Adventure Dive: Delve deeper (up to 30 meters) and learn how to plan and execute dives at greater depths, mastering techniques to manage nitrogen narcosis and ensure safe ascents.
  • Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive: Sharpen your navigational skills using a compass, natural landmarks, and timekeeping to confidently navigate underwater environments.

• Three Elective Dives: Choose any three adventure dives from a diverse selection, including:
  • Night Diver: Discover the magic and mystery of the underwater world after dark, encountering nocturnal creatures and bioluminescent displays.
  • Wreck Diver: Explore the fascinating underwater ruins of shipwrecks, learning safe penetration techniques and proper etiquette for respectful exploration.
  • Drift Diver: Embrace the exhilarating experience of a drift dive, carried by currents as you observe vibrant marine life and explore diverse underwater landscapes.
  • Peak Performance Buoyancy: Achieve near-weightless buoyancy control, allowing for effortless movement and minimizing environmental impact while diving.

Advanced Open Water Course Requirements:

To participate in the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you must:

• Be a certified PADI Open Water Diver (or a recognized equivalent certification).
• Be at least 10 years old.
• Have logged a minimum number of dives (as specified by PADI).
• Be in good physical health and complete a medical questionnaire.
